Henry Levin (1909–1980) drehte zwischen 1944 und 1980 mehr als fünfzig Filme quer durch alle Genres und galt als zuverlässiger Studioregisseur. Zu seinen bekanntesten Arbeiten zählen das Musical Jolson Sings Again (1949), das Gefängnisdrama Convicted (1950), die Jules-Verne-Verfilmung Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959) und die Komödie Where the Boys Are (1960).
